Abstract: Through the sliding movement of the constant resistance body, the anchor bolt with constant resistance and large deformation can achieve constant working resistance and adapt to large deformation of the surrounding rock, and by analysising the principle of the anchor bolt with constant working resistance and large deformation, the constitutive equation of anchor bolt with constant working resistance and large deformation supportting system was established, then it was applied in hengyuan coal mine Ⅱ632 transportation lane to suppot the tunnel using cutting roof to release the pressure. Monitoring results show: the deformation amount of the anchor bolts system with constant resistance and large deformation is 548mm, The constant working resistance can still be maintained after the effect of the advance mining pressure and the effect of the mining pressure, The average value is 328.4kN. When the roof accumulatively sinks 371.7mm, the anchor cable with constant resistance and large deformation will absorb energy through its structural deformation to maintain the overall stability of the roadway roof, while the ordinary anchor cable is pulled off because the deformation of the supporting system exceeds its maximum tensile capacity.
